The Yukon-Ukrainian community gathered together on August 24, 2023 to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day. It was an afternoon of celebrating Ukraine’s continued fight for freedom and mourning those who have been lost due to the illegal war still being perpetrated on Ukrainian soil.

We thank all Yukoners who came out to mark this day. Thank you as well to the politicians who came to demonstrate their continued support for Ukraine and the work of UCAY.
