UCAY members had a very rewarding year in 2023, with two successful trips to deliver medicines, medical equipment and aid to Ukraine, hosting the delegation from Chortkiv, and helping almost 150 new Ukrainians settle and find employment in Yukon.

To cap such a great year, we held another borsht fundraiser to share good food with our community, collect funds for our next trip slated for spring 2024, and say thank you to our many supporters. As promised, we cooked enough this time to satisfy everyone's appetites!

The silent auction was a highlight, with a large variety of local goods as well as many beautiful handicrafts from Ukraine. Dyakuyu to all Yukoners who continue to support Ukraine and our efforts to help our partner organizations in Yuzhnoukrains'k and Chortkiv.
