On Saturday, November 1, 2025, Ukrainian Canadian Association of the Yukon presented “Brandon Isaak Trio” – A Fundraiser for Ukraine, at the Old Fire Hall, featuring Brandon Isaak, Dave Haddock and Lonnie Powell.

UCAY would like to thank Jazz Yukon for partnering with us in this fundraiser for Ukraine. We are also grateful for the sponsorship provided by Air North.

The Yukon Arts Centre provided an on-line pay only bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and UCAY had a silent auction featuring items from Ukraine.

Brandon Isaak, our Yukon born, singer and songwriter is one of Canada’s premiere Blues guitar players on the music scene today. With a career spanning over 37 years, Brandon Isaak has become known for his thoughtful and thought-provoking lyrics that blend humour, introspection, and spirituality. As a skilled guitarist and harmonica player, Isaak brings a no-nonsense approach to his music, staying true to the deep traditions of blues as it was played in the 1940s and 50s. His last album was nominated for a Juno Award for Blues album of the year as well as 4 nominations from the Maple Blues Awards for Male Vocalist of the year, Album of the year, Songwriter of the year and Producer of the year.
