The Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society has partnered with the Ukrainian Canadian Association of Yukon (UCAY) to allow people who make donations to UCAY to receive Canadian tax receipts. We greatly appreciate all the work the Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society does for UCAY and many other local organizations that contribute to our community.
Cheques can be made out to Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society, with “Yukon to Ukraine” in the memo line.
If you do not require a tax receipt, we accept donations by e-transfer at info@yukonukrainians.ca, cash, or cheque made out to Ukrainian Canadian Association of Yukon.
Cash and cheque donations can be taken to North End Gallery in Horwood’s Mall in Whitehorse, at the corner of Front and Steele Streets.
Supporters can also support UCAY by volunteering at one of our many fun and interesting fund raising events, which include borsht sales, garage sales, silent auctions, gala events, and performances.
UCAY held its inaugural board meeting in January 2023. Our board consists of an eclectic group of Yukoners with diverse backgrounds and skills.
